IT Internal Audit Manager at Dart in Mason, MI

The IT Internal Audit Manager will prepare independent appraisals, analyses, observations and recommendations relating to improving IT controls and business processes as directed. Establish the audit approach and project plan, perform and/or oversee audit tests to achieve objectives, and lead multiple projects concurrently. Participate in the Company's enterprise risk assessment process. Delegate project responsibilities to, review the work of, and identify development opportunities for staff. Day-to-Day Role:
Plan and manage information technology (IT) internal control audits including determining audit scope and approach and the nature, timing and extent of audit testing Identify and evaluate technology, security, business and operational risks, internal controls which mitigate risks, and related opportunities to partner with business management to improve operations and internal controls Use data analytics to maximize testing efficiency and completeness in a continuous auditing program. Review the systems established to ensure compliance with those policies, plans, procedures, laws, and regulations which could have a significant impact on operations and reports Apply experience, expertise and business acumen to partner with the locations, departments, and functions reviewed to help them develop action plans that address risks, improve operational efficiency, strengthen, streamline and systematize controls, and prevent waste and fraud Structure and write final deliverables (audit reports, other summary memos) Present reports and recommendations to users, functional management and senior management Participate in the enterprise risk assessment process and other critical projects in a consultative role Interact in a manner that reflects an understanding of, and sensitivity to, social and business cultures and how assigned project tasks relate to overall business objectives and risks Plan, direct, supervise, and coordinate work activities of staff Responsible for employee development, discipline, performance appraisals, and administration of policies Make recommendations regarding staffing decisions Core Skills and
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
Bachelor's degree Five (5) years of experience required in the areas of external auditing, IT auditing, internal auditing or consulting CISA certification Three (3) years of experience successfully developing and executing IT audit programs (specifically reviewing IT processes and controls, related business processes, and owner action plans) Three (3) years of experience writing report segments and delivering presentations Three (3) years of experience supervising IT auditors by delegating and reviewing their audit work and assessing their performance Ability to travel up to 25% domestically and internationally Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver's license and passport Requires a favorable motor vehicle report upon hire Preferred Skills and

Salary Range:
$100K -- $150K
Minimum Qualification
Auditing & ComplianceEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
