Machine Design Engineering Supervisor
Mason, Michigan
As Machine Design Engineering Supervisor, you will work hands-on with direct reports of varying levels of expertisetraining and developing the more junior engineers, while guiding and directing the more seasoned professionals. You will also assist with problem resolution, support developmental strategies in the design group, and serve on at least one cross-functional team, where youll work with peers. To qualify, you should hold a Bachelors degree in Engineering, or any discipline that relates to engineering or manufacturing. Your background should include a minimum of 5 years of machining or tool design, 5 years in a technical position within a manufacturing/production process environment and 5 years in a supervisory/leadership role, directing and developing a team and processes. Your technical strengths should be in statics, strength of materials, dynamics, machine design, and fluid power, and familiarity with calculus, statistics, thermodynamics and heat transfer, and EE integration.
