Job Description
The SharePoint Administrator is responsible for administration and infrastructure work on SharePoint farms and projects.
This role is responsible for monitoring, planning and implementing all new installations and upgrades.
The SharePoint Administrator will also be responsible for maintenance and support of SharePoint farms. This person will also identify and address training needs within the team.
The SharePoint Administrator will balance workload to meet customer needs and serve as a technical resource for SharePoint Analysts, SharePoint Developers, and for other entities within the company as needed.
Specific Duties:
Provide leadership for daily operations and improvement of our SharePoint farms.
Work on assigned projects and/or work with other groups for successful design and implementation.
May be asked to lead projects from a technical perspective to further departmental goals and objectives.
Provide a source of expertise in incorporating & implementing SharePoint solutions in the current environments.
Act as a sounding board for other Administrators, SharePoint Developers, and SharePoint Analysts in evaluating, implementing, and maintaining changes and daily operations of the companys SharePoint systems.
Provide support in enhancing SharePoint server infrastructure and systems operations and performance.
Support appropriate escalation procedures for high-level help desk problem resolution. Serves as level three support.
Keep abreast of new technology developments and make recommendations regarding changes to current standards as appropriate.
Work closely with the ECM team to ensure the success of the teams duties and responsibilities.
Support the infrastructure and administration needs of other CMS tools, such as Umbraco.

Mid-Level SharePoint Administrator:
Candidates must meet all the following requirements as well as general requirements
A high school diploma/equivalent plus 4 years of IT work experience OR
An Associates degree in the field of Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, or a related field plus 3 years of IT work experience OR
A Bachelors degree in the field of Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, or a related field plus 1 year of IT work experience

Senior SharePoint Administrator:
Candidates must meet all the following requirements as well as general requirements

A Bachelors degree in the field of Computer Science, Web Development, Information Systems, or a related field plus 3 year of IT work experience

General Requirements
Qualified candidates must meet one of the following:
Microsoft SharePoint certifications preferred
Experience with creating and managing powershell scripts
Experience with Windows Server 2012
Knowledge of Outlook Exchange, Lotus Notes, and OCS / Lync applications preferred
Demonstrated experience in installation, administration, support and management of any active Windows server environment that comprises of active directory, application, file and print servers preferred

Experience with SharePoint 2013 preferred
Experience with administration of the following software; MS Project Server, TFS (Team Foundation Server), Windows Media Server, and IIS (Internet Information Service) preferred
Advanced knowledge of Windows Virtualization, Project Server, Win2K, Win2K3 & Win2K8 server technologies, Active Directory, SQL
Ability to work both independently and in a team to provide input and output in a timely fashion
Ability to adapt to change with a positive attitude and passion for learning new technologies quickly
Strong analytical skills to understand business process and recommend solutions
Strong troubleshooting skills to identify and resolve technical issues
Strong communication skills, both written and spoken
Customer service orientation
Additional work hours as occasionally required, including weekends
Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks with direction, input and help from other team members and/or IT Manager as needed
Ability to travel up to 5% domestically
Requires a valid drivers license and favorable motor vehicle report
