The Unix Administrator installs, supports, maintains, monitors, and tunes operating system software and guest sub-system software (DBMS's, web/internet, imaging, networking, back-up/restore, web server). The Administrator will also architect and deploy Unix server hardware (CPU's, Disk, tape, memory, network). This individual will develop and maintain disaster recovery procedures. The Administrator must be able to balance and manage customer needs, daily responsibilities, and any additional projects as assigned. The Unix Administrator's primary focus will be deploying stable and cost-effective Unix environments.
Qualifications
Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Successful completion of an analytical aptitude test;
Knowledge of AIX and Linux or Solaris operating systems and hardware;
Developing processing standards and procedures for use by IT staff;
Providing technical support to IT staff during systems design, development, and deployment;
Understanding of personal computers operating systems and networking concepts;
Assisting in coordinating software vendors and 3rd party software installs;
Production and customer focus.
Education and Experience Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and/or education;
Preferred Qualifications
AIX or Linux experience;
Experience with Storage Area Networks;
Project Management experience;
Programming experience; and
Scripting languages (KSH or Perl)
Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
