Compensation Analyst
Mason, Michigan
As Compensation Analyst, you will create, review and/or revise job descriptions for the purpose of evaluation, and provide relevant feedback to Senior Human Resource business partners, recruiters and managers. You will market price jobs and recommend appropriate salary grades/ranges, and participate in salary surveys on a regular basis. Additionally, you will write and deliver plan documents, manager and employee guidelines, training scripts, presentations, process documentation, and all policies/practices impacting compensation. Our client will look to you to research best practices for various types of pay, including rewards, retention, variable or incentive pay, shift differentials, etc. Finally, you will assist in compensation-design projects, administer annual merit/incentive processes, counsel the HR team and managers on issues regarding pay, and offer viable solutions.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelors degree and possess at least 3 years of experience in compensation, and be familiar with federal, state, and local laws related to compensation. Outstanding analytical skills, along with attention to detail, are musts. Good written- and verbal-communications skills, and proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Excel, and Word are essential. Importantly, you must be willing to take the initiative in research/learning tasks and have a high respect for confidentiality, quality and accuracy in your work. A valid drivers license and a favorable status with the DMV are also necessary.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
