The Mobile Solutions Engineer II manages, coordinates and implements projects for infrastructure design, administration, development, maintenance, and enhancement. Analyzes system and business requirements, and develops project plans from written specifications. Collaborates with user departments to assist in the implementation of work requests and to provide operational support for production systems. Mentors and supports other team members.
Essential Job Duties & Responsibilities
Manages small to medium sized projects and designs, codes, and tests infrastructure and system programs.
Maintains, integrates, and implements software systems.
May provide on-going support for significant programming changes on an on-going basis (i.e., post implementation).
Analyzes requirements and recommends solutions to integrate software and system components.
Troubleshoots end-user issues and performs programming activities to address programming errors or potentially needed enhancements.
Utilizes multiple development tools and maintains an advanced working level knowledge of programming languages and technologies.
Participates in the research, evaluation and recommendation of new technologies.
Performs unit tests on code and takes ownership of implemented code by identifying deficiencies and implementing solutions.
Creates and executes advanced level project work plans and revises as appropriate to meet changing needs and provide deliverables in a timely and efficient manner.
Gathers business requirements, develops technical documentation, and promotes the use of existing documentation.
Monitors industry trends and developments to improve system design and customer service.
Applies the standard development methodology process to all projects.

Provides scheduled on-call 24x7 system support on a rotational basis.
Job Requirements (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities)
Moderate knowledge of at least one of the following languages: JAVA, C#. VB.Net, PowerShell, JavaScript, SQL, etc.
Knowledge in mobility and collaboration systems.
Knowledge of HTML and CSS technologies; HTML5, CSS3, and Responsive Design knowledge desired.
Knowledge of JavaScript and libraries, such as jQuery.
Strong knowledge of SharePoint infrastructure and development desired.
Knowledge of Object-C or Swift desired
Strong understanding and knowledge of when to use advanced techniques such as:
Dynamic data (via JSON, XML, or Web Services)
Custom code vs. third-party solutions
Server-side logic
User-specific data delivery, based on user types, and/or group permissions/security
Participates in Level 2 administration functions and supports the development of L1 administration functions.
Demonstrated record of successful system implementations.
Solid experience applying methodologies to design and implement projects.
Ability to successfully manage multiple projects in a changing technical environment.
Effective problem-solving skills with the ability to develop technical and business solutions.
Strong knowledge of version control systems.
Strong knowledge of usability principles.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Strong customer service orientation.
Strong analytical ability.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment to achieve desired results.
Education and Experience Required
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and/or education.
2-4 years of relevant experience required.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
