My client is looking for a Network Technician for their Mason, MI location. This is a temp position that will last 2 - 6 weeks, 40 hours per week. The hourly rate depends on experience. They are only interested in local candidates.
Responsibilities:
Manage and support networks
Manage the installation, configuration and testing of computer equipment attached to the network
Trouble-shoot connectivity, wired and wireless
Configure Internet and wireless networks and maintain switches
Install and maintain computer and network equipment
Provide hardware and software support to end users
Requirements:
Degree in Computer Science or equivalent degree
Knowledge of Windows administration.
Experience in configuration, installation, support and maintenance for Windows
Knowledge of Windows Server, Cisco IOS, Cisco application software.
Knowledge of router configurations and maintenance, specifically Cisco routers.
Experience with Linux server administration
Experience with VOIP system administration
Experience with network security
