Associate Forecasting Analyst

Dart Container is seeking an Associate Forecasting Analyst to join their dedicated and collaborative team of analysts making meaningful impacts on business processes and customer relationships. Our Forecasting Analyst will estimate future customer demand using statistical analysis to be used for planning production, deployment and capacity.
Day-to-Day Role:
Forecast development, management and maintenance
Maintain system data specific to product lines
Recommend and implement opportunities to improve forecasting techniques
Identify key forecast changes and trends based on solid analysis and communicate to appropriate management and personnel
Track and report new and slow moving product
Participate in supply chain process improvement projects when needed
Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
Bachelor Degree with an emphasis in business, supply chain, logistics, mathematics or related field of study
Strong attention and detail to accuracy
Excellent verbal and written skills necessary to communicate intricate job related processes, procedures, and decisions
Must have ability to communicate and collaborate with other departments to gather and provide information
Strong analytical skills and ability to recognize and solve problems, and implement solutions
Ability to demonstrate personal accountability, take ownership of work, and apply learned concepts
Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create reports, documents, business letters and spreadsheets in MS Word and Excel
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
SAP Experience, preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
