International Account Manager

Dart Container is seeking an analytical, detail-oriented relationship-builder to join our International Sales Administration team. As a Bilingual Account Manager, you will work with a highly supportive and collaborate team that aims at developing its people and providing the tools needed to reach your highest career potential. In this position, you will experience a high-level of independent decision-making authority for important decisions that will impact our international customer relationships as well as our overall business.
Dart?s International Account Managers team up with our Sales Representatives (as well as other departments) in providing outstanding service to our customers through confident decision-making in regards to pricing, contracts and other service matters. While you will be working quite closely with our Sales team, this is not a ?Sales? position. We are seeking a candidate who will enjoy evaluating market conditions and making decisions. As you become comfortable in your role, you will be given a higher level of responsibility and further growth opportunities by assisting with larger, more complex accounts and continuous improvement projects.
Day-to-Day Role:
Analyze information provided by Dart Sales Representatives pertaining to competitive products, competitive prices, and related terms and conditions of sale
Use a strong understanding of current market conditions (as well as Dart philosophy and policies) to assist in guiding decisions concerning customer pricing, shipping requirements, terms and conditions of sales, and contract and bid pricing
Communicate and explain, with supporting rationale, pricing decisions and company pricing policies as well as related terms and conditions of sale to Dart Sales Representatives and, on occasion, directly to international customers
Evaluate and make decisions on sales requests regarding expenditures relating to distributor promotional and marketing activities, distributor trade show participation, and distributor requests for advertising support
Assist customers by resolving service related issues beyond the authority of Dart customer service representatives, and handle other service issues when sales representatives are unavailable and/or immediate action is required
Receive service reports from Dart Sales Representatives relating to product quality and/or customer service. Gather and analyze reported information and work with the Dart Salesforce to develop the optimal mutually acceptable solution for both the customer and Dart
Resolve issues associated with past due invoices and unauthorized payment deductions
May require international travel to receive or provide training or work on special projects
Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:
Bachelor?s degree or international equivalent
Verbal and written fluency in Spanish
Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Organizational skills including the ability to prioritize workload to meet deadlines
Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and priorities
Must have ability to communicate and collaborate with other departments to gather and provide information and recommendations
Strong analytical skills and ability to evaluate and make decisions on complex business issues
Ability to demonstrate personal accountability, take ownership of work, and apply learned concepts
Microsoft Word skills to include the ability to create reports containing graphs and other intermediate functions
Microsoft Excel skills to include the ability to create spreadsheets (e.g., formulas such as V-lookup, graphs, pivot tables)
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid passport
May travel up to 10% domestically and/or internationally
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree with an emphasis in Business or related field of study
Two (2) years of business experience

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
