Organizational Development Specialist

Dart Container has the ability to hire an Organizational Development Specialist at the mid or senior level.

Our OD team works closely with senior leadership to strategically develop our people ? an objective directly connected to the company?s long term, strategic goals. This includes helping business leaders acclimate to new work areas, proactively and effectively manage change and improve communication across teams. Our OD Specialist also develops and delivers HR programs such as performance management, succession planning and engagement surveys.
Other responsibilities include:
Subject matter expert on assigned programs and providing consultation to customers
HR resource for conducting research on HR topics, summarizing information found, and making recommendations for a plan of action
Project leader for large scale, functional and organizational change management projects

Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal mid level candidate must possess all of the following:
Bachelor's degree
Five (5) years of hands-on experience leading Organizational Development and successfully developing and implementing programs
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing two (2) or more of the following areas: Career Planning, Team Building, Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Assessments and Surveys, Performance Management, Change Management, Process Improvement, Recognition/Reward
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary in order to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams, and to explain technical or difficult issues
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license
Favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor?s degree in Business, Human Resources or related field
Master?s Degree in Human Resources (Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR Development or related field)
Experience in leading large scale HR and/or change management projects
PHR or SPHR
The ideal senior level candidate must possess all of the following:
Bachelor?s degree
Eight (8) years of hands-on experience leading Organizational Development and successfully developing and implementing programs
Three (3) years of experience leading large scale HR and/or change management projects
Demonstrated experience developing and implementing four (4) or more of the following areas:
Career Planning, Team Building, Workforce Planning, Succession Planning, Assessments and Surveys, Performance Management, Change Management, Process Improvement, Recognition/Reward
Experience delivering training programs to employees at all levels of the organization
Comprehensive knowledge of and experience researching HR topics and preparing analysis of findings with recommendations
Excellent verbal and written communication skills necessary in order to persuade and influence decision making of individuals, groups, or work teams, and to explain technical or difficult issues
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to travel domestically up to 20% of the time
Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver license
Favorable motor vehicle report upon hire
Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

Master?s degree with an emphasis in Human Resources, Industrial/Organizational Psychology, HR Development, or related field of study

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
