Dart is seeking an Operational Excellence Lead who is looking to apply their knowledge in a fast-paced machining environment. At Dart?s Machinery and Tooling Manufacturing, we use the latest technology to build and maintain much of the production equipment and tooling used at Dart locations worldwide.

Successful candidate will provide leadership to drive and support a culture of continuous improvement in the MTM manufacturing environment, and plan, organize, implement and support team centered continuous improvement activities.

Core Skills and Qualifications:
The ideal Operational Excellence Lead candidate must possess all of the following:
Requires one of the following:
Associates degree in related field and three (3) years experience in areas such as lean manufacturing, six sigma and overall process improvement; OR
Five (5) years experience in areas such as lean manufacturing, six sigma and overall process improvement
Demonstrated success in managing systems and improvement efforts
Demonstrated competency with team improvement activities
Ability to define problems, collect data, establishes facts, and draw valid conclusions
Ability to solve practical problems in situations where only limited standardization exists
Ability to establish project plans, regularly monitor and track progress on work projects, and communicate with project partners
Ability to plan, organize, and prioritize work load, and respond to changing business demands
Strong attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to effectively present to an audience including managers
Able to give full attention to what other people are saying, taking time to understand the points being made, asking questions as appropriate, and not interrupting at inappropriate times
Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes
Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create complex reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
Lean / 6 Sigma Certification preferred
American Society for Quality Certified Manager of Quality/Organizational Excellence preferred
American Society for Quality Certified Quality Engineer preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
