Entry Fitter/Welder 1st shift

Description

Arcosa Shoring Products, formally known as Trinity Shoring Products,is seeking aFitter/Welder for our Mason, MI operations. As aFitter/Welder, youll lay out, position, align, and fit together fabricated parts of metal according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches in preparation for welding. Youll also tack-weld pieces together. TheFitter/Welderapplies appropriate welding processes to join, surface, fabricate, and repair parts of metal or other weldable materials according to layouts, work orders, blueprints, schematics, and sketches using manual welding equipment.

Schedule: Monday - Friday: 6:00 AM - 4:30 PM

What youll do:

  • Fit and weld sub-assemblies into final product
  • Perform flat and horizontal groove welds
  • Accurately measure within specified tolerances
  • Read blueprints
  • Perform flat and horizontal fillet welds

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of welding experience
  • Ability to pass weld and measurement test
  • Qualified to weld on aluminum or steel
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the use and operation of fillet and groove welding equipment
  • Ability to read specifications, shop drawings, schematics, and blueprints
  • Capable of reading, understanding, and following weld procedure
  • Ability to perform all essential functions safely and efficiently
  • Ability to follow directions and maintain a professional work environment
  • Good communication skills and the ability to work within a teamwork environment
  • Regular and predictable attendance


Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
