Data Technician - Level II or III

This position assists Supervisor in the day to day operations by providing adminstrative and techinical support functions.

Day-to-Day Role:


  • Provide administrative support to include but not limited to, sorting and organizing correspondence, typing correspondence, planning meetings, and coordinating schedules
  • Maintain contact with supervisor to keep him/her apprised of critical or updated situations
  • Maintain confidential documentation or paperwork as necessary
  • Monitor projects and inform supervisor of significant changes that occur
  • Prepare weekly, monthly, and quarterly data analysis and summary reports
  • Assist supervisor with auditing various production departments
  • Analyzes data and communicates findings as requested
  • Provide technical assistance to supervisor as requested
  • Promote good employee relations and high morale
  • Demonstrate teamwork and respect by working constructively with co-workers to achieve the best results possible
  • Follow all safety rules and procedures to ensure a safe working environment

The ideal candidate must possess all of the following:


Data Technician II


  • One (1) year experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Two (2) years' experience performing clerical duties
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create basic reports, documents, presentations and spreadsheets in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers
  • Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and priorities


Data Technician III


  • Two (2) years' experience working in a manufacturing environment
  • Three (3) years' experience performing clerical duties
  • Demonstrated proficiency in independent/team project completion
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including the ability to create complex reports, documents and spreadsheets in MS Word and MS Excel
  • Excellent verbal and written skills necessary in order to communicate intricate job-related processes to internal and external customers
  • Math skills to include simple addition, subtraction, multiplication and division
  • Ability to effectively manage and execute multiple tasks, projects and priorities
  • Proven analytical problem solver
  • Conceptualize and develop solutions with minimal supervision
  • Assist in training personnel when requested
